I sustained a grade 1 ankle sprain back in March 2023. Because I live a very active lifestyle where I'm climbing, hiking, and backcountry camping most weekends, I decided to get 2 different braces.My second brace (ordered from a different site) is a compression sock style with support straps and I thought was going to be my favoured brace. However the compression style sock was hard to get over my hiking socks and squeezed my foot in a painful way.This brace purchased was cheaper and admittedly I had low expectations BUUUT it ended up being my go-to brace. It's super comfy, gives the support for my needs, and I can wear it all day. It wraps around my hiking sock with ease, fits into my hiking boots and normal sneakers without any issue. Hiking with this brace gives me the added support so I can ascend and descend mountains with confidence. I have trekked with this brace 56km on a backcountry trip with 3000m elevation gain and the brace held up, was super comfy, and didn't have any issue in needing to re-wrap it.

Not sure what I did to my ankle, upper foot but it was very sore and at times hard to walk. Purchased this wrap so I could better support my ankle and be more comfortable. It works well!

You have to wear these with a sock because of that. Otherwise, good stuff.

These are well made and stay in place. They immediately helped with my damaged spring ligament. They are easy to use and I can still wear a loose shoe.
